Día de los Muertos - Sugar Skulls!

Hello lovelies!

Halloween will soon be upon us and therefore I have created this mani! Sugar skulls! My friend Samantha from Southern Sparkle Nail Art has done them once in a guest post, and I adored them, so I wanted to do my version of them. Here they are!

Swatch-It Sunday: Catrice "Mermaid My Day" & "Miami pINK"

Hello lovelies!

Yes, finally, swatches from Catrice's new polishes "Mermaid My Day" and "Miami pINK"! Let's begin with "Mermaid My Day":

Veeeeery beautiful, easy application. This shimmery teal mani was obtained using 2 coats with top coat. For full opacity you might want to use 3 coats, but 2 was fine for me. Now Miami pINK:

Sooo sparkly! It is very special, with the shimmer and the glass flecks.. Super nice! Application is fine, though for opacity, again, 3 coats are needed. This is 2 coats with top coat.
I'm pleased with these, despite them not being very opaque. The application is easy and all evens out nicely, so that is a big step up from the spring line. I'll be wearing these again!

Infinititely studded with W7 "Space Debris"

Hello lovelies!

A quicky post this Saturday. I recently purchased a new shade of W7, "Space Debris". I created this mani with it, using tiny studs I bought on ebay. It is inspired by my ring (see second pic):

Space Debris is a hot pink shimmer jelly with lots of tiny holo glitters. It applied nicely, though it was not very opaque. This it 2 coats, but if you want to wear it alone, you might need 3 coats to reach full, non-VNL opacity. I like it, but more in the bottle than on my nails...

Twinsie Thursday: Fall

Hello lovelies!

Today we have another Twinsie Thursday with Samantha from Southern Sparkle Nail Art! The theme is Fall and Samantha nailed it !

Hello Lacquer Lovers!

It is Samantha once again and it is time for another Twinsie Thursday! This month the theme we came up with was a fall inspired look using the colors nude, brown, green, and gold. This is what I came up with!

I used nine different polishes for this look! First, for the base color, I started off with one coat of Zoya Flynn (one of my favorites) topped with one coat of Wet n' Wild 2% Milk. I then used a Diamond Cosmetics Nail Art Striper in the color Cocoa for the tree branches. For the green leaves I made a color of my own using L.A. Colors Nail Art Striper in Bright Green, Jindie Nails Olive You (I named this one :p ), and Blue Eyed Girl Lacquers Don't Worry, I Don't Bite. For the yellow toned gold leaves I used Diamond Cosmetics Nail Art Striper in 14K and for the orange toned gold leaves I used 14K mixed with a neon Color Club Orange and Too Cute-icle Hot Shades.
This is a super easy nail art look, so it is great for beginners!
Make sure you head over to my blog to see the lovely nail art that Lothwen came up with! :) We need to do this again next month!

Until next time!

Thank you Samantha, I really adore the design!!! So super cute! I must recreate these soon. So that's it for today lovelies, I'm off to bed ;)

But before I forget; here's my design!

Black to Blue

Hello lacqueristas!

After a two-week hiatus, a little blogging here! I wore this to work the other day, because that night we all went bowling:
